Can Yoga Breathing Be Preceded By Cardiac Exercise.

I do a fairly brisk walk of about 25 minutes. This is followed by some basic stretching exercise. I wait for about 6 - 7 minutes for my breathing to normal and then do pranayama. Is this sequence ok?
AnswerYour yoga sequence is ok i.e brisk walk followed by stretching, rest and then pranayama. You can include surya namaskar after you complete other stretching exercises. After the stretching exercises, lie down in shavasana and relax for 5-6 minutes or more before doing pranayama.
