Weight Loss With Triphala : Inspired Stories

Hello Friends, I have reduced four Kg in two months. After reading the article and comments from Sunita Verma about using triphala for weight loss, I tried to follow the same process. No rice & Potato.


Before pregnancy my weight was 59 kg and after delivery 67 kg. My son is around 10 months.

After reading the article by Sunita Verma, I tried the same process from 15th April 15 till today i.e 12 June 15. I had reduced 4.5 kgs.

My daily routine was as follows:-

~ Early morning Triphala (Same as Mrs Verma suggested)
~ In Breakfast fruits or Sprouts or Tea or Digestive biscuits.
~ For lunch 2 roti with sabji.
~ Tea @ 5 P.M
~ Evening 1 roti, if very hungry then 2 roti without ghee and dal / sabji.

I am working women, so I have no time for exercise, just household work.

Need to inform you all, I have reduced 10 kgs within 6 months.

The same routine, triphala in the morning and Household work.

How to use triphala churna for weight loss ??

Hi, My age is 23 years and my height is 4.9, my weight is 53 kg. I want to reduce weight from 53 to 47 kg. I am taking tripala churna with honey every day in the morning. Can you tell me how many days can I use this?

Taking triphala while nursing

I had a c section five months back in august. I am nursing mother. Can I take triphala while feeding my baby? Will it have any effect on milk production as I want to continue feeding for few more months. Can I start yoga now for weight reduction?

Triphala is not recommended for lactating mothers as it can cause loose motions for the baby. You may consult your doctor before starting yoga.

Reduced 10 Kg in 6 Months

Was using it in a wrong way

Really inspired.. I bought triphala powder some weeks ago and was taking 1 teaspoon with milk at night and there was actually no weightloss but from now onwards will take the way mentioned here. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to reduce 4 kgs till next month.

Want To Lose Weight Around 40 Kgs

I am Vidhya. My age is 28 yrs and I am 90 Kgs, 5'7" right now. I am unmarried and I am also suffering with thyroid,18.5 is the percentage. Please tell me how should I lose weight. Just before 5 days started taking triphala daily night before going to bed. I am vegetarian. Anything else should I do. Please suggest and help me for loosing this weight as early as possible. Guide me.

Besides taking triphala you have to control your diet and do regular exercise. Diet control has to be very strict and ensure that you get adequate nutrition without starving yourself.
